DRAKE, William Harrison

Perrysville—Shortly after he became ill at his barber shop, William Harrison Drake, 59, died at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday at his home, of a heart attack.
  Neighbors summoned Mrs. Drake, who was attending a Ladies Aid meeting at the home of Mrs. Margaret Jackson, after her husband arrived at the family residence. She found Mr. Drake unconscious in a chair in the living room after she had gone to summon a physician.

  Dr. W. A. Johnson pronounced Mr. Drake dead upon arrival at the home.

  Born at Harveysburg June 30, 1888, Mr. Drake was the son of David and Ruth Drake. He came to Perrysville about 25 years ago and was married Sept. 1, 1920 to Miss Kate L. Dickison.
  Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Kenard, at home; four brothers, Ora and Trella of Kingman, Jim of Harveysburg and Omer of Attica; and two sisters, Mrs. James Mann and Mrs. Neil Grismore of Kingman.

  The body was returned to the home Wednesday from the Bodine-Shelby Funeral Home at Covington. Last rites were to be conducted at the United Brethren Church of which Mr. Drake was a member, at 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial was in Hicks Cemetery, west of Perrysville. – thanks to S&E
